Michels Restaurant has been looking after Townsville locals and visitors for over 19 years priding themselves on the consistency of service and food.

Veteran co-owners Jason and Craig have combined industry experience of over 40 years in the kitchen. They can cater for all dietary requirements in a la carte dining, degustations and functions on and off site.

Michels Restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday to Friday from 11:30am and dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5:30pm.

 Our very very brief history so far…

Almost everyone craves a burger now and then, but too often I felt compelled to abstain. I’d complain to friends that I could rarely find a burger that didn’t make me feel heavy & bloated. Most agreed and eventually a good friend (sick of my whining) told me to put up or shut up. It was in that pub that the idea of Grill’d was born.

I decided that our restaurants would only use the finest freshest ingredients, have the friendliest staff and the most delicious, healthy burgers. After thousands of hours of hard work and heaps of help from friends & family we finally made it.

    Seasoned is the newest restaurant on Palmer street and is the perfect setting to spoil yourself with great food, wine and service.

    Select a wine from the cellar – one of the largest in Townsville – and pair it with an entree like lightly smoked ocean trout with beetroot, vanilla croutons, goats cheese, pistachio and wasabi vinaigrette. 

    For something bigger, you might opt for wagyu strip loin with asparagus, chickpea fritters, red wine jus and bearnaise sauce, or perhaps sovereign lamb rack with basil pea puree, artichoke, potato and olive gnocchi and fava beans.

    Open for breakfast – continental buffet and alacarte, lunch and dinner. The Sugatrain lounge bar and café offers a wide range of dining options and a bar open til late.
