Discover the Strand foreshore. The Strand is a 2.5 km stretch of presting beachfront with spectacular views of Magnetic Island. Enjoy one of the many restaurants, bars or cafes along the precinct. The popular Water Park is great for the young ones, take a swim in the Rockpool or sit back, enjoy a gelato under a palm tree with a good book.

Jazzine Barracks is located beside the rockpool end of the Strand. This is a must see and do. Learn about the regions military past and indigenous history in a spectacular environment.
